Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, this fall, I will be joining a group of international volunteers at Farm of the Child (FOC) in Trujillo, Honduras. My term of service will last 27 months, beginning with a month of language school in Guatemala and a move to the Farm on October 1, 2011.
I would like to invite you to please join me in this new mission! There are two primary ways you can help support this organization and my own ability to serve. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers… for the work being done at the Farm and for the children, house parents, local employees, Franciscan sisters and the other international volunteers. Additionally, I am in need of financial support to make this mission possible. I need to raise $10,000 to cover the expenses of travel, medical expenses and insurance, language school in Guatemala, and preparation costs and supplies.
